A while ago I was talking to @boskabout on Twitter. To keep a long story short: I told him I was going to paint him. So I did. Read our Twitter backlogs if you care enough.

I've been working on larger canvases this last year and it was a real treat to be able to downsize it all and get into detail for this work. I wanted to try to add as much detail as possible on a small canvas.

It's always hard to do a portrait of someone you have never met before. But I guess it came out alright:
